IMPERCEPTIONS PRESS / INFORMATION

For Publishers.

Imperceptions Wire is an independent release publisher developing direct syndication relationships. Releases are clearly attributed to issuing organizations and are not represented as independently reported news stories.

Publisher interfaces

Industry and geographic filters

Taxonomy-based feeds are exposed at /wire-topic/{topic-slug}/feed/ and /regions/{region-slug}/feed/ where configured. The JSON API supports topic, region, type, organization, page, per_page (maximum 50) and modified_after.

Example: Technology topic API · Technology RSS.

Fields and identifiers

Each JSON release provides a persistent ID of the form IMP-00000000, headline, optional subheadline, dates, version, canonical URL, issuing organization, language, dateline, categories, approved media contact, rights/source information, correction notes and featured media URL where supplied. The API returns only published releases.

NewsML-G2 development

Individual-release NewsML-G2 XML export endpoints are under development, at /wire-newsml/{release-id}/. These outputs have not yet been independently validated against the full IPTC schema or agreed with a publisher; they should be considered evaluation exports until that work is complete.

Corrections and republication

Update metadata includes a version number and modification timestamp. Corrections and withdrawals are handled under the corrections policy. Feed access is not permission to republish full articles or a guarantee of rights to multimedia. Full republication, redistribution, attribution requirements and delivery arrangements require separate agreement.

Partner integration

Publisher organizations interested in integration can review the available feeds and the editorial policy. The publisher relationship program is being established. No third-party placement or republication is guaranteed.

Images and logos

Released news items may include a primary editorial image, an organization logo, caption, creator credit, alt text, and available usage-rights information. Where a release has no featured image, an approved issuing-organization logo may be supplied as a fallback. Images are optional, and reuse rights depend on the specific asset and applicable distribution agreement.

Publisher JSON records provide media.primary, media.organization_logo, and media.source. Where available, RSS uses Media RSS elements, and NewsML-G2 evaluation exports provide media references.
