Editorial Standards.
Imperceptions Wire publishes attributed press releases from identifiable organizations. Press releases are announcements from their issuers, not independently reported news stories.
Submission requirements
- A verified issuing organization, accurate contact details, dateline and publication date.
- Clear and factually supportable claims. Statistics, scientific findings and material assertions should be traceable to credible sources.
- Quotes must be genuine and approved by the person attributed. AI must not invent quotations, outcomes or endorsements.
- Material ownership, affiliation, sponsorship and conflicts of interest must be disclosed as relevant.
- Releases must not falsely imply independent editorial endorsement, guaranteed syndication, or a paid placement that has not occurred.
AI-assisted drafting
AI tools may help structure or edit draft announcements. A responsible human editor must review and approve a release before publication. Accuracy, permissions and accountability remain with the submitting organization and publisher.
Corrections and updates
Material errors should be corrected promptly. Significant amendments should be identified on the release with a correction or update note and modification timestamp. Retracted releases should be labeled transparently rather than silently reused as new releases.
Editorial discretion
Imperceptions Wire may decline, revise, temporarily hold or remove releases for accuracy, legal, privacy, safety or editorial reasons. Distribution to external publishers is not guaranteed.
